Michael Markov is a pioneer in the field of hedge fund replication, having developed the industry’s first returns-based style analysis software based on the work of William Sharpe in the early 1990’s. Dimitri Sogoloff is a founder of Horton Point LLC, a family office specializing in seeding and incubation of outstanding emerging managers. Prior to Horton Point, he was a founder and president of a convertible arbitrage hedge fund, Alexandra Investment Management, which he ran for 15 years, from 1992 until 2006. Alexandra became a premier relative value investment firm, with peak assets of over $2.5 billion. In 2005, Dimitri helped launch two technology firms: Paladyne Systems, a major player in front-to-back portfolio management solutions, and Infohedge Technologies, the first and the largest private cloud and hosted platform provider in the alternative investment industry. Dimitri has a B.S. in Engineering and an MBA in Finance, both from Columbia University.
